Four Seasons Hotels: A Lavish Place

If you’re the kind of person who likes the expensive highlight, then you probably already know that the Four Seasons hotel chain is pretty much the best there is. If you are in the mind to praise the man behind it all, please direct your thanks and gracious statements to Isadore Sharp. Today worth more than three hundred and fifty million dollars, Isadore Sharp graduated from the Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in Toronto, Canada in 1952. Nine years later his degree in architecture paid off when he built and opened the first Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Toronto. Not ten years after that, the first overseas Four Seasons hotel opened in London, England.

In the beginning the Four Seasons was not exclusively a luxury resort, but through constant changes and a knack for staying ahead both technologically and financially it built itself up to what it is today. Which is excellent, in fact, the Four Seasons Hotel Chain was recently called one of the best luxury hotels in the world by Travel/Leisure magazine.

Home Away From Home

In some cases people have considered being at a Four Seasons hotel is better than being at home, so they decided to move in. The Residence Club sells villas, timeshares, and penthouses out to private people just like you’d rent a house. Being that the Four Seasons customer service was rated #2 by Business Week magazine, I can understand why. Nothing beats being pampered, and if you have the money I would highly recommend it.

Relaxation: Anytime, Anywhere

Usually spending the night at a hotel is stressful. You’re in a strange place, usually out of town; you don’t have all of your usual household amenities, because everyone always forgets something, and you probably had a long car or plane or boat ride to wherever you are. So what do you do? Well, if you’re in a Four Seasons hotel, you would go to the spa. Not only do they offer massages, facials, and pedicures, but you can even get seaweed or mud wraps for those wrinkles. For a little bit extra, you can bring the experience of the spa back to your hotel room, and get a great massage without ever even getting off the couch.

Massages aren’t the only thing that you can have brought to your room. Every Four Seasons hotel offers twenty four hour room service, so at any time of the day or night that you feel like you need a snack or a drink, you will be waited on with gusto. The menu varies from hotel to hotel, but each kitchen is guaranteed to be both delicious and prompt. All in all, anything that you can ever need you can find at a Four Seasons hotel.
